About TOLI

Team Organizing Local Institution (TOLI) is a non-profit making and non-governmental organization (NGO) established on 26 July 1993 (Shrawan 11, 2050 B.S.) in Pokhara, Kaski, under the Institution Registration Act-1977 (2034 B.S). It has been affiliated with Social Welfare Council (SWC).

TOLI is registered in District Administration Office Kaski, Nepal and has been affiliated with NGO Federation Nepal, District Child Welfare Committee (DCWC), District Education Network (DEN), District Agriculture Network (DAN), Civil Society Development Council (CSDC), Civil Society Alliance in South Asia for Child Right, Civil Society Network for Peace, Nepal Permaculture Group (NPG) and so on.

This organization is established to play a complementary role by implementing successfully the development plans motivated by the Eighth Five Years Plan guided by the Nepal Government’s policy.

The main feature of the organization is to work as the positive change maker without influenced by any kinds of prejudice. During the three decades of its intervention, it has been worked more than 29 big and small scale of projects in respect to natural resource management (NRM), economic develop, child rights, human rights, GESI, health and WASH sectors covering more than 18 districts of Gandaki and Lumbini provinces of Nepal collaborating with governments, donors and private sectors. Targeted beneficiaries of the projects were disadvantaged community of rural and urban areas.
